RSVP required. Please email or call 1300 789 988 and leave your name, telephone number, the number of people attending and the date and location of the session you wish to attend.

These introductory sessions are open to anyone with tinnitus and their families and friends and other interested parties, including professionals. The presenter will talk about the causes of tinnitus, things which make it worse, the relationships between tinnitus and hearing loss, and self-help strategies for reducing your tinnitus awareness and annoyance.

If you have been to one of our community sessions before you might not hear anything new at these ones, although you are still welcome to attend and to share your experiences. Instead, you might like to attend a half- or full-day course in tinnitus management through the WEA or Adelaide Hearing Consultants.

RELAXATION AND/OR MEDITATION CLASSES

Call your local Neighbourhood Centre, library or Local Council office for information about inexpensive relaxation or meditation classes near you.

Tinnitus SA also has relaxation audio-tapes and CDs for people to borrow.

DVDs FOR LOAN OR SALE

VHS videos and DVDs of the professional forum about tinnitus, held on 9th September 2004, are available for loan (or purchase) from Tinnitus SA. Call us or drop in at 51 Angas Street, Adelaide, to borrow a copy.

A DVD of a regular Tinnitus SA community information presentation is available for loan to those people who are unable to attend one of our general information sessions (or if you wish to share or to hear the messages again).

Please note that this page is updated regularly, so you can check to see if any sessions have been added or cancelled.
