Our Services

1 Self-assessment

Use the questionnaire (Assess Yourself) to assess the severity of your tinnitus and its effects upon your life. This will identify some particular Fact Sheets which may be of assistance to you.

2 Printed information:

There is a range of Fact Sheets on different topics available to download from the website. The self-assessment questionnaire will suggest some relevant ones for you. Those not available for download can be ordered by completing the on-line request form (How Can We Help You) or by telephoning Tinnitus SA on 1300 789 988.

3 Community Information sessions:

Proposed dates for community information sessions around South Australia are listed on the Website (Free Info Sessions), or email us with your request for information about proposed sessions in your area. We are also happy to talk to clubs and community groups, on request.

If you live in rural South Australia and we do not have a visit scheduled to your area soon, you can borrow (or purchase) and view a DVD of a community information session. Call our office to arrange for us to send you a DVD.

4 Small-group sessions:

These are offered to people (in South Australia) who have been referred to the service by a health professional such as an audiologist, or who have attended one of our community sessions. Alternatively, Tinnitus SA staff provide occasional tinnitus courses at the WEA and at Adelaide Hearing Consultants.

5 Individual sessions:

Telephone consultations with an Audiologist are available to people who are severely troubled by tinnitus and/or have been referred by a health professional or attended one of our community sessions.
